Approved commercial import program
I, Ian Cresswell, Assistant Secretary, Wildlife Trade and Sustainable Fisheries Branch, as Delegate of the Minister for the Environment and Heritage under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (the Act) and Regulation 9A.21 of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Regulations 2000, approve under section 303FU of the Act, the aquaculture operation of Stolt Sea Farm California L.L.C, as an Approved Commercial Import Program for the purposes of section 303FU of the Act.
This approval is subject to the following conditions:
- This declaration applies only to White Sturgeon (Acipenser transmontanus) products sourced from Stolt Sea Farm California LLC's aquaculture operation.
- A relevant permit or certificate must be issued in compliance with the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) by the appropriate authority of the country of export or re-export.
- Approval is valid for 5 years from the date of this approval.
