Join the experienced team from Auscamp for a cycle through the wetland reserve or tackle their monstrous mobile rock climbing wall. Looking for something a bit cooler to do? Why not connect with the Auscamp instructors down by the water's edge for a quick lesson in water safety before taking a peaceful paddle through the wetlands on one of their canoes or sea kayaks.

If you have small children or are looking to take things a little easier in the shade, why not engage in a wetlands inspired craft workshop or link up with the crew from Water Watch where you will catch and learn about macro invertebrates and the importance of a healthy waterway. Please feel free to bring a sample of water from home to compare!

The Committee of Management will also be running a World Wetlands Day colouring competition. Entry is open to children in 3 age groups 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12 years of age. Entry forms can be picked up from and returned to either Coles or Woolworths Benalla, Coles or Safeway Wangaratta or the Winton Wetlands office at 89 Sydney Rd Benalla. Prizes will be awarded to the best 3 entries in each age group when the competition ends on Thursday 21st February. Please refer to the website  for terms and conditions.

Refreshments will be provided throughout the morning on February 2nd and Committee of Management members and project staff will be on hand should you have any project related questions. For further information please phone: 5761 1549.
