The Australian Government produces a web-based Calendar of Events for World Wetlands Day each year. If you have a World Wetlands Day activity that you would like advertised before 2 February, please contact wetlandsmail@environment.gov.au.

  • FREE entry to the Jabiru Swimming Pool from 3 pm
  • Come to the pool for your chance to name the boat in the 'ERA boat-naming competition'
  • Family activities at the pool promoting healthy wetlands including:
    • Make your own boat out of recycled materials and race it at the pool
    • What does a healthy wetland look like?
    • Learn about the water cycle in Jabiru
    • Try your hand at colouring or making origami wetland creatures
    • Fun games and more.......
