About the brochure
Wetlands are found throughout Australia, from the reefs surrounding our coastline, to the rivers and floodplains that criss-cross the country, from lakes and dams in urban areas to constructed wetlands in the suburbs.
Wetlands are valuable for the environment, food production, our culture and recreation. In celebration of World Wetlands Day 2012 the Australian Government has released the brochure Australia's amazing wetlands in which you can learn more about Australia's wetlands and their wise use.
