Water Audits and Rebates for Large Water Users

Eurobodalla Shire Council area, NSW

Total funding: Total project cost of $548,332, with funding of $264,586 from the Australian Government under National Water Security Plan for Cities and Towns (NWSPCT) and the remaining funding provided by Eurobodalla Shire Council.

About the project

The Eurobodalla Shire Council is targeting the highest water users throughout the Shire and will provide participating customers with a detailed water audit. These audits will be conducted through sub metering, the temporary provision of online data loggers and a walk through assessment of all end-use sites. A customised water saving report will then be provided with recommendations on potential water saving options and the quantity of potential savings. Rebates of up to $15,000 will be available to implement any of the qualifying water saving measures identified during the audit.
