Total funding: Total project cost of $800,000, with $700,000 provided by the Australian Government under the National Water Security Plan for Cities and Towns and the remaining funding provided by the Kempsey Shire Council.

About the project

The Kempsey Shire Council constructed a new water treatment plant for the Bellbrook water supply scheme, serving Bellbrook village and the surrounding community. The Bellbrook water supply had been prone to quality problems including heavy metal contamination over a number of years.
