Consultation period: 21 January to 4 February 2014.
The Australian Government is currently seeking public comment on the Green Army Draft Statement of Requirements. The Draft Statement of Requirements document sets out the important design features of the programme as well as the proposed delivery arrangements.
This consultation process provides an opportunity for all members of the community to provide practical advice about on-ground delivery of the Green Army programme including in relation to the recruitment and training of Green Army participants, project management and other administrative details.
Comments from potential service providers and training organisations would be of particular value, as would feedback from potential Green Army Project Sponsors (for example community conservation groups, Indigenous groups and local councils) and Participants.
Your feedback through this process will improve the Department’s understanding of external programme delivery capabilities and help fine tune the delivery arrangements for the Programme. Feedback on this draft will be used to inform the final content of a Request For Tender (RFT) that will be released in the coming months.
