About the report
The objective of this test is to determine the concentration of a particular test chemical/sample that affects the reproductive output (ie egg production) of the pulmonate gastropod Amerianna cumingi. This information can then be used alongside data from other organisms (from different taxonomic groups and trophic levels) to estimate the risks associated with releasing that particular chemical/sample to the environment.
