About the report

Following the 7th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties (CoP7) to the Ramsar Wetlands Convention in Costa Rica, May 1999, a proposal from an Asian wetland Inventory has been prepared. The proposal was developed by Wetlands International and eriss with support funding from the Environment Agency-Japan.
