About the Report

The report A Shared Vision for Tourism in Kakadu National Park recommended the development of a strong and consistent brand for Kakadu. The brand will underpin a range of park management outcomes stemming from the Plan of Management, in particular the Tourism Master Plan and education and interpretation programs.

The brand was developed in conjunction with the Kakadu National Park Board of Management, traditional owners, the Northern Territory tourism industry, Tourism Northern Territory and Tourism Australia.

The brand strategy is a living document and is presented in draft form. It will be finalised when the current Kakadu National Park Management Plan process is concluded, and the Tourism Master Plan and current marketing development programs are completed.
