Visitor activities
Cultural centre | Ranger guided walks | Sunrise and sunset | Walks | Rock art | We do not climb
Anangu and Parks Australia have developed the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre and a range of walks and publications to help visitors see Anangu culture and land through Anangu eyes.
The Cultural Centre is a place where visitors are invited to learn about Anangu culture. The walking tracks, some of which are guided by Anangu, bring visitors in touch with the land. The information provided by guides, brochures and signs take visitors into the world of the Tjukurpa and hopefully pass on a little of its great depth of meaning.
Talinguru Nyakunytjaku | new viewing area
Talinguru Nyakunytjaku offers visitors stunning new views of both Uluru and Kata Tjuta from a previously inaccessible area of the park.
The area allows visitors to see Uluru and Kata Tjuta in the wider desert landscape of spinifex covered dunes and swales, dotted with kurkura or desert oaks.
