Walks
The best way to explore Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park is on foot. We have a number of walks to suit all ages and abilities - many are wheelchair accessible and range from easy to moderate.
Remember Uluru is a beautiful but harsh environment, with hot, dry conditions for most of the year. Heat exhaustion and dehydration are very real dangers but you can take some simple steps to keep you and your family safe while out walking in our park. Wear a hat, strong shoes and sunscreen, carry and drink at least one litre of water per hour, walk in the cooler parts of the day and stay on our marked tracks.
