About this permit
Use this form to apply for a permit to conduct research in a Commonwealth park or reserve, under Regulation 12.06(2) or 12.09(1) of the EPBC Regulations, and in accordance with subsection 354(1) of the EPBC Act.
If you intend to obtain biological resources from a Commonwealth area for the purpose of research and development on any genetic resources, or biochemical compounds, comprising or contained in the biological resources, you will also need to obtain a permit under Part 8A of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Regulations 2000.
