Guluyambi cruises on the East Alligator River
An intimate cruise along the East Alligator River with an Aboriginal guide. Gain an insight into their rich culture, with stories about the creation time, traditional uses of many plants and animals and bush survival skills.
In the monsoon season, Guluyambi operates boat cruises along the swollen Magela Creek - floating through flooded paperbark forests, this tour is the only way to visit Ubirr once floodwaters close the road. This wet-season-only experience is not to be missed, offering you a rare chance to enjoy Ubirr's world famous rock art galleries with barely any other visitors.
