I am aware of reports of an incident in the Southern Ocean involving one or more vessels of Sea Shepherd and the Japanese whaling fleet.
We are still confirming the reports.
The Government condemns so-called ‘scientific’ whaling in all waters and we urge everyone in the ocean to observe safety at sea.
