Statement on Queensland Environmental Assessments

I was alarmed by the statement put out late this afternoon by the Queensland Deputy Premier, Jeff Seeney.
It is the opposite of what the Deputy Premier put out to the people of Queensland and to me on Friday evening.
Effectively, the Deputy Premier is refusing to provide a streamlined system of environmental assessment to allow me to make a decision under national environmental law.
I am considering my options and will have more to say tomorrow.
