Democrats voting record on time limitations on Senate debate (guillotines)

The Democrats feigned indignance on the motion to schedule a vote on the Anti-Terrorism, Marriage and Electoral legislation today heightens their hypocrisy.

The Democrats have voted to guillotine debate on no less than 176 bills since 1990.

They claim incorrectly that the bills they have guillotined in the past had already had long debates. The fact is that most of the bills (see attached list) they have voted to guillotine had little or no debate.

If the Democrats wanted to be true to Don Chipp's intention of "Keeping the Bastards Honest", they should start by being honest themselves.
