Qualifications
The team's relevant qualifications and experience:
- Angela McCauley - Bachelor of Science and trained in Adult Education
- Ian Gill - Communications, strategic planning, facilitation, Indigenous relations
- Robert DeVries - Bachelor of Science
Training experience
Angela has over 20 years of experience in field survey, regional planning and mapping and has recently provided training in recording cultural sites to Indigenous communities in northern Australia.
Robert has over 20 years of experience in spatial science, ethnobotany and regional planning and has previously provided training in field recording of traditional plant use to Indigenous communities in western NSW.
Ian has a 20-year international career in newspapers and documentary television reporting, editing and production, plus 17 years in conservation and Indigenous development, including non-profit leadership, social entrepreneurship, fundraising and public speaking.
Recent experience
Ecotrust Australia has delivered cultural heritage management training to an Indigenous group within the last 12 months (valid at October 2011).
