Working on Country Reporting back to you: 2009-2012 - Report to Working on Country funding recipients June 2013

About this report

This report summarises environmental, employment and social data collected from the Working on Country Indigenous ranger program reporting over the last three years (2009-12).

It has been prepared as a 'report back' to Working on Country funding recipients. It shows the diversity of environmental work that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander rangers are completing across the vast Australian landscape, from tropical rainforests and reefs, to the harsh desert, and to wetlands and island environments. The significant economic, social and cultural benefits intrinsic to ranger work are also highlighted.
