About the Assessment Dates in the Lists
The Finalised Priority Assessment Lists give the assessment completion dates as the Minister initially set them. Under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999, the Minister may extend an asessment completion date, superseding the dates given by these lists. All assessment extensions are listed in the Public Notices database and can be found by selecting "Extended assessments" in the 'Notice' field. The latest assessment completion dates are given in documents reporting the Minister's extension decision which are linked to the results page.
