Commemorating Eminent Australians (CEA)
Annual funding of up to $4.42 million each year is provided for National Historic Sites (which incorporates Commemorating Eminent Australians).
The May 2011 Federal Budget announced supplementary funding of up to $8 million over two years for a new community heritage grants program. The funding will be available in 2011-12 and 2012-13.
To streamline the delivery of heritage funding, program guidelines for National Historic Sites and Commemorating Eminent Australians have been incorporated into the new Your Community Heritage Program.
To apply for funding to Commemorating Eminent Australians you must apply through the new Your Community Heritage Program.
In 2013-14 the Protecting National Historic Sites Program (which incorporates the Commemorating Eminent Australians Program) will revert to its previous administrative arrangements.
