Wave Hill Walk-Off Route, Northern Territory

The Wave Hill walk-off route encompasses the sites that led to the Gurindji people becoming the first Aboriginal community to have land returned to them by the Commonwealth Government.  The Wave Hill walk-off route was included in the National Heritage List on 9 August 2007.
