Purpose for the Collection of Personal Information
The Commonwealth Environmental Water Office (the Office) is part of the Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities and assists the Commonwealth Environmental Water Holder in the management of Commonwealth environmental water. The Office is collecting your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 for the purpose of providing you with communication products, information and/or seeking feedback or advice about the Office and Commonwealth environmental water.
The information will only be accessed by authorised staff within the Department. Some of this information may be given to the Department's product distribution service provider for the purpose of distributing Office communication products to you. The information will not be given to any other person or agency unless you have given us permission or we are authorised or required by law.
