Commonwealth Environmental Water Office

The Commonwealth Environmental Water Office (CEWO) was established to support the Commonwealth Environmental Water Holder (CEWH) to make decisions on the use of Commonwealth environmental water.

Commonwealth environmental water is managed to protect or restore the environmental assets of the Murray-Darling Basin. Water will be managed in accordance with the environmental watering plan that will be part of the Murray-Darling Basin Plan .
