About this draft policy statement
The purpose of this draft policy statement is to outline the Australian Government's position on the use of environmental offsets under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act and to provide members of the public with an opportunity to comment on the draft policy. All comments will be taken into consideration when finalising the policy. The draft policy statement should be read in conjunction with the associated discussion paper.
