New South Wales
Tarrawonga coal mine Project
The Tarrawonga coal mine proposal involves an extension to the existing open cut Tarrawonga coal mine in the Leard State Forest.
Queensland
Hummock Hill
Eaton Place Pty Ltd proposal is for the Pacificus tourism and residential development on Hummock Hill Island, south of Gladstone.
South of Embley bauxite mine, Cape York
RTA Weipa Pty Ltd proposes to expand its Weipa bauxite mining operations in an area south of the Embley River.
Great Keppel Island
The proposed Great Keppel Island tourism and marina development includes 750 villas, 300 apartments, a 300-suite hotel facility, a 250-berth marina, and an 18-hole golf course and club, a retail area, and a sporting oval, as well as upgrading works to the existing airstrip and the creation of 545 hectares of environmental parks.
Tin Can Bay marina
The proposal is to build a marina in Tin Can Bay's Snapper Creek Harbour, as well as associated infrastructure including a kiosk, a car park, a yacht club, a boat ramp and a promenade.
Carmichael coal mine and rail project
Adani Mining Pty Ltd proposes to construct and operate an open cut and underground mine at Moray Downs, 160 km northwest of Clermont.
Gladstone channel duplication
The Gladstone Ports Corporation proposal is for the duplication of the existing Gatcombe and Golding Cutting shipping channel situated in the Port of Gladstone. It will increase port capacity and decrease shipping traffic congestion.
Cairns shipping development project
Far North Queensland Ports Corporation Ltd (trading as Ports North) proposes to upgrade the existing shipping channel and associated infrastructure in the Port of Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.
Western Australia
Kimberley strategic assessment
The Australian and Western Australian governments have agreed to a strategic assessment to find a suitable site for a liquefied natural gas precinct to service the Browse Basin gas reserves off the Kimberley coast, and to ensure that this site is appropriately managed.
Wiluna uranium mine
The Wiluna uranium mine proposal is being assessed under national environment law for its potential environmental impacts.
Point Grey marina project
The Point Grey marina project comprises a proposed 13 hectare on shore boating marina situated at Point Grey.
Northern Territory
Ayres Rock Resort golf course
Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia Pty Ltd proposes to construct an 18-hole, international-standard golf course at its Ayres Rock property, southwest of the town ship of Yulara, Northern Territory.
