Education for Sustainability Grants Program
About the program
The Education for Sustainability Grants Program ran from 2003 to 2009 supporting national strategic projects that facilitated changes in community attitudes and behaviours in support of sustainable development in Australia.
Funding was provided to community groups, industry associations, rural organisations, local governments, universities and further education institutions and environmental and education groups.
Since the program was first initiated in 1997 more than 95 projects have been supported with the Australian Government providing a total of more than $3 million.
