Approval of Commercial Vessel Transit in Coringa Herald National Nature Reserve and Lihou Reef National Nature Reserve

Approved Area/s Coringa-Herald National Nature Reserve and Lihou Reef National Nature Reserve
Approved Person/s All persons operating a commercial vessel, including a commercial fishing vessel, in the approved area/s
Approved Action/s Commercial vessel transit
Conditions of Approval
  1. Commercial fishing is prohibited.
  2. Comply with the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 and the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Regulations 2000.
  3. Discharge or disposal of minerals, mineral waste and any other solid waste, or any other noxious, offensive or polluting substance in the approved area/s is prohibited
  4. Discharge or disposal of any liquid or gaseous material in the approved area/s is prohibited if it is likely to pollute the air, soil, water or a watercourse or be harmful to a native species or harmful or offensive to another person.

Failure to adhere to the conditions of approval may result in variation or revocation of this Approval.

This Approval remains in effect until a management plan comes into operation for Coringa-Herald National Nature Reserve and Lihou Reef National Nature Reserve unless revoked sooner.
