About the submission
This report provides the basis for the assessment of the Victorian Giant Crab Fishery under Part 13A of the EPBC Act. The giant crab (Pseudocarcinus gigas) is a Xanthoid crab, a group with few commercially exploited species.
The Giant Crab Fishery Management Plan (GCFMP) specifies the policies and strategies for managing the giant crab fishery in Victoria for the next five years.
