Indigenous Carbon Farming Fund

Register of service providers to Indigenous organisations undertaking carbon farming activities

Expressions of Interest sought

The Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities (the department) is developing a publicly accessible register of potential service providers to Indigenous organisations who wish to source Carbon Farming Initiative expertise.

Under the program, Indigenous organisations and individuals receive grants to access specialist advice, undertake training or assess project opportunities under the Carbon Farming Initiative. Grants also support the development of governance and contractual arrangements for carbon farming projects with multiple interested parties.

Since the launch of the Indigenous Carbon Farming Fund, the Department has received a number of enquiries from Indigenous organisations and individuals seeking advice on specialist service providers.

Areas of service provision relevant to Indigenous Carbon Farming Fund activities may include:

The Register will be available on the Department's website. The Register will be updated at periodic intervals to ensure information is current and to provide an opportunity for emerging service providers to be included.

Please note, the Register is provided for information only. The Department does not endorse any listed service provider on the Register.
