About the management plan

A Wildlife Trade Management Plan has been developed by the Queensland Department of Environment and Resource Management for protected plants. The plan covers all Australian native plants harvested or artificially propagated in Queensland, including those listed on Appendix II of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES). It does not cover exotic species.

The Declaration of Approved Wildlife Trade Management Plan states that the delegate of the Minister for Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities has approved this management plan.
