Summary
The Adelaide and the Mount Lofty Ranges is a complex and biologically diverse region covering 780,626 hectares. Over 450 native fauna species and 1500 native vascular plant species have been recorded in the region.
The plan incorporates a review and prioritisation of 18 recognised threatened ecological communities occurring within the Adelaide and the Mount Lofty Ranges, including three ecological communities listed as nationally threatened under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act).
