About the submissions
In October 2003 the National Task Group on the Management of Climate Change Impacts on Biodiversity (the Taskgroup) called for submissions to the Developing a National Biodiversity and Climate Change Action Plan Consultation Paper.
The consultation paper was prepared to facilitate stakeholder engagement and comment on the development of a National Biodiversity and Climate Change Action Plan with a view to identifying potential mechanisms for managing climate change impacts on Australia's biodiversity.
Contributors were invited to provide feedback on any aspect of the consultation paper and a series of questions were presented throughout the consultation paper to help guide input.
The following are submissions from the consultation process and have been posted at the request of the Taskgroup to:
- allow interested parties to access the information and views submitted; and
- further communicate the issues associated with developing a National Biodiversity and Climate Change Action Plan.
