Advisory Committee
The Australian Biological Resources Study (ABRS) Advisory Committee is a non-statutory body which provides technical and policy advice to the Minister responsible for Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities. Advice includes assessing and recommending funding for research grants, contracts, training schemes and the development of strategic and operational priorities and directions for the Program. Committee membership includes up to eight technical members and five community stakeholder members, including the Chair of the Council of Heads of Australasian Herbaria (CHAH) and the Chair of the Council of Heads of Australian Faunal Collections (CHAFC).
